Backpack Buddies is a mission of Middleburg United Methodist Church that supports Aldie Elementary and Banneker Elementary by providing weekend meals to children who might otherwise go hungry. The program ensures that these students have access to nutritious food when school meals are not available, helping to alleviate food insecurity and support their overall well-being. Volunteers from the church and community come together to pack and distribute the backpacks, making a tangible difference in the lives of local families in need.
